Money in. Money out.
No surprises.
Runners pay through Amwalpay. The platform takes 2.5%. You get the rest in your bank account by the end of the next month. Refunds run automatically against pending payouts.
The flow
Runner to organizer,
three honest steps.
Step 01
Runner pays
Runner checks out through Amwalpay — the local Omani payment gateway. Bilingual EN/AR checkout, PCI-DSS handled by the gateway.
- ›Visa / Mastercard
- ›OmanNet local debit
- ›Mobile wallets
Step 02
Platform settles
Transactions clear T+1 into the platform's collection account. Barq Lane retains a 2.5% processing fee on paid registrations. Refunds net against pending balance automatically.
- ›2.5% per paid registration
- ›T+1 clearing
- ›Auto-netted refunds
Step 03
Organizer paid
Net proceeds wire to the organizer's bank account on a monthly cadence. OMR-native — no FX markup, no currency conversion, no surprise deductions.
- ›Monthly bank payout
- ›OMR end-to-end
- ›Wire fee absorbed
The detail
Every number,
every rule, written down.
Payment methods
Checkout covers the rails Omani runners actually use. Cards work for international entries, OmanNet keeps it local for the majority of GCC-based registrations, and mobile wallets remove friction on phones. Checkout is bilingual EN/AR and PCI-DSS compliance sits with Amwalpay.
- ›Visa and Mastercard
- ›OmanNet local debit
- ›Mobile wallets (Apple Pay, others on roadmap)
- ›Bilingual EN/AR checkout
- ›PCI-DSS handled by Amwalpay
Fees
One number, all-in. 2.5% of each paid registration goes to the platform — that's the entire take. No setup fees, no monthly minimums, no FX markup because everything settles in OMR. If a registration is free, the platform earns nothing on it.
- ›2.5% per paid registration
- ›No setup fees
- ›No monthly minimum
- ›No FX markup — OMR only
- ›Free registrations = zero platform fee
Payout schedule
Payouts run on a monthly cadence directly to the organizer's bank account. Underlying transactions clear T+1 into the platform's collection account, so the balance you see in the finance dashboard is always close to real time. The wire fee on each payout is absorbed by the platform.
- ›Monthly payout cadence
- ›T+1 transaction clearing
- ›Direct to organizer bank
- ›Wire fee absorbed by platform
- ›OMR — no FX conversion
Refunds
Organizers initiate refunds from inside the dashboard. The refund engine nets the amount against pending payouts — no separate bank movement, no manual reconciliation. Every refund is audit-logged with actor, reason, and timestamp so the trail is intact for finance and dispute review.
- ›Organizer-initiated from dashboard
- ›Auto-netted against pending payouts
- ›Audit-logged (actor, reason, time)
- ›Reflects in finance dashboard immediately
Reconciliation
The finance dashboard shows revenue broken down by event and by category, live as registrations come in. Refunds and disputes have their own audit trail. Monthly statement export ships as CSV and PDF so finance teams can close the books without re-keying anything.
- ›Real-time finance dashboard
- ›Per-event and per-category revenue
- ›Refund and dispute audit trail
- ›Monthly statement export (CSV + PDF)
