The entry settles into the organizer's own Amwalpay merchant account. Barq Lane invoices the organizer 2.5% per paid registration; it is not deducted, because Barq Lane never holds the funds.

Payment methods

Checkout covers the rails Omani runners actually use. Cards work for international entries, OmanNet keeps it local for the majority of GCC-based registrations, and mobile wallets remove friction on phones. Checkout is bilingual EN/AR and PCI-DSS compliance sits with Amwalpay.

Fees

Runners are free. Organizers pay 2.5% of each paid registration sold through their events on Barq Lane. If a registration is free, there is no platform fee on it.

Settlement

Entries settle into the organizer's own Amwalpay merchant account, on the settlement terms of that account. Barq Lane is not in the settlement path and holds no funds. The finance dashboard shows paid registrations, refunds, and the platform fee due.

Refunds

Organizers initiate refunds from inside the dashboard, and settle them in their Amwalpay portal. Every refund is audit-logged with actor, reason, and timestamp so the trail is intact for finance review.

Reconciliation
