Common questions
How does pricing work?
Runners are free. Organizers pay 2.5% of each paid registration sold through their events on Barq Lane.
What about payment processing?
Payment processing through Amwalpay (Visa, Mastercard, OmanNet, mobile wallets) is included in the 2.5% platform fee for Oman. We handle fraud protection, chargebacks, and reconciliation on your behalf.
When do I get paid out?
Organizer payouts are batched and transferred monthly to your registered bank account. The Finance dashboard shows real-time GMV, refunds, and projected payout balance throughout the month.
How are refunds handled?
Organizers run refunds from the participant console — full, partial, or category-change. The 2.5% platform fee is refunded proportionally so you never pay fees on money you returned to runners.
What counts as a paid registration?
Any registration where the runner pays a non-zero amount through Barq Lane. Free entries, comp codes, and waitlist holds don't incur a platform fee.
